New York, NY - The City College of New York women's volleyball team hosted Hunter College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday evening, falling to the Hawks in three sets (25-14, 25-11, 25-20). With the loss, the Beavers fall to 1-6 overall and 1-1 in CUNY Athletic Conference play.

Junior Serena Warner led the Beavers with five kills and two solo blocks. Senior Viviana Alatorre recorded 13 assists and nine digs. Junior Nila Tom posted three kills, while sophomore Rosalynda Russo had a team-high 12 digs. Freshman Ivanna Zamora Sanchez added seven digs, while Senor Bianka Catral finished with three kills and five digs.

Next, the Beavers travel to Brooklyn, NY, to take on St. Joseph's University Brooklyn in non-conference action on Thursday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m.
