Newark, NJ - The City College of New York men's cross country team earned a seventh-place finish in the open section of the 2025 NJIT XC Challenge, held Saturday at Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey.
Sophomore
Trent Santoro paced the Beavers, placing 61st overall with a time of 32:38.8 over the 8K course. Fellow sophomore
Justice Omoruyi followed closely behind in 32:45.4 (65th), while first-year
Jared Bravo crossed in 32:49.9 (67th).
Rounding out CCNY's scoring lineup were sophomores
Daniel Gonzalez (35:12.2 – 83rd) and
Chengwei Bao (36:50.1 – 91st).
Also competing for the Beavers were first-year Tristan Hyltan (37:04.2 – 95th) and sophomore
Henry Robles (38:00.4 – 100th).
Next, the Beavers will compete at the 2025 SJNY Invitational at Sunken Meadow Park in Kings Park, NY.
