Throggs Neck, NY - In the finale of the 2025 CUNY Athletic Conference Baseball Championship Series, The City College of New York baseball team mounted a dramatic late-game comeback but ultimately fell just short in a 14ā10 loss to Baruch College on Sunday afternoon at Reinhart Field.

Despite trailing by as many as eight runs in the sixth inning, the Beavers refused to back down, igniting the stadium with a furious six-run rally in the bottom of the seventh to nearly erase the deficit. Junior
Kevin Budzinski led the charge with a clutch bases-clearing double, part of his 3-for-5 day at the plate that included four RBIs and a stolen base. CCNY collected 22 hits in totalāa season-highāand showcased relentless offensive pressure throughout the game.
