Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – The City College of New York men's soccer team came up short on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 2–1 decision to Bard College on the road.
Bard struck early, breaking through in the 7th minute on a goal from Ben Steketee, then doubled the lead in the 31st minute with Henry Skeltis finding the back of the net to make it 2–0.
CCNY battled to get back into the match and was rewarded late, when senior Konstantinos Psomaras scored his second goal of the season in the 85th minute off an assist from freshman Bitoshoke Chakma, trimming the deficit to 2–1. Despite a late surge, the Beavers were unable to find the equalizer.
