New York, NY - The City College of New York Baseball program proudly hosted a free Youth Baseball Clinic at Riverbank State Park, creating an energetic and engaging environment focused on player development and community connection.

Young athletes from across New York City participated in the clinic, which welcomed players of all ages and skill levels. CCNY coaches and student-athletes provided hands-on instruction in core baseball fundamentals, including hitting, throwing mechanics, fielding techniques, base running, and overall game strategy.

The clinic was structured to ensure every participant benefited — from beginners learning the basics to more experienced players refining their skills. Beyond technical instruction, the event highlighted the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and confidence both on and off the field.

"Our goal was to make the game accessible while creating a positive and memorable experience for every athlete," said Head Coach Scott Losche. "This clinic gave us the opportunity to give back to the community and continue growing the game right here in New York City."

The event reflects CCNY Baseball's continued dedication to youth outreach and community engagement, further strengthening its connection to the city it proudly represents.
