Thierry Diessongo posted a season-best time of 6.83 in the 60 meter dash to lead the City College of New York men's indoor track and field teams at the 2014 Deneault Memorial Invitational at Cornell University on Saturday. 
Diessonggo's time ranked him fifth in the nation at press time, and gave him a third-place finish at the meet. Diessonggo also clocked a 22.36 in the finals of the 200 meter dash, the second-best time of the day. Both times qualified him for the IC4As, the ECACs and both NCAA qualifying lists. Up next for CCNY, the Beavers will head to the CUNYAC Championships on Sunday, March 2nd. The men's team is in the hunt for their fourth consecutive championship.
