CCNY Men's Soccer standout Samuel Nkama was named Male Athlete of the Week for the period of Wednesday, September 1st through Monday, September 5th.

Nkama put forth a stellar first three games of the season for City College. After being held without a goal or an assistant in the Beavers' 5-0 defeat at the hands of Wesley College on September 1st, the sophomore forward served as the sparkplug in CCNY's 4-1 victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent on September 3rd as he netted a pair of goals and also tallied an assist.

To round out his week, the 6'1 stalwart scored a first half game-tying goal against Mitchell College during a Labor Day matinee affair on September 5th. The Beavers would go on to lose that match by a score of 6-2.
