The City College of New York women's volleyball team defeated Sarah Lawrence 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-21) Tuesday night at Nat Holman Gymnasium in New York, New York.

The first set started off back-and-forth between the two teams. Sarah Lawrence (1-9) went up 5-9, but the Beavers (3-11) would not go quietly. Irishvarsha Iyyadurai took control with serves and City  went on a 7-0 to take a 13-9 lead. The Beavers continued to dominate the Gryphons and took the first set 25-16.

With a gleaming shimmer of light for a victory, the Beavers pushed forward in the third set, but the Gryphons would not go quietly. Sarah Lawrence started the set on a 4-0 run. CCNY quickly tied it 4-4 and then took the lead. It was a back-and-forth set until City took the 22-21 lead. That sealed the deal for a City College of New York victory as they took the third set 25-21.

Aida Cekic led the Beavers with eight kills, along with Bozer adding six. Veralucia Quispe notched 10 digs, while Cassidy Iannariello dished out a team-high eight assists. The team tallied 20 service aces in the victory, with Cekic leading the team with seven.
