Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 The City College of New York women's volleyball team competed in the Lycoming Tip-Off Classic. They first faced the tournament host, Lycoming, and fell 3-0 (25-9, 25-8, 25-7). City fell in the second match of day one to Misercorida 3-0 (25-7, 25-17, 25-20). To start off day two, City fell 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-10) to Alfred State. City then finished up their time in the tournament with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-5, 25-21) loss to Wilkes.

Day Two
Match Two vs. Wilkes
CCNY (3-15) went into the match with a longing for a victory during the Lycoming Tip-Off Classic. The only team that stood in their way now was Wilkes (9-9). CCNY put up a fight in the first set as they longed for a victory. It seemed right within reach, but the Colonles would not let that happen as they took the first set 25-13.

Wilkes University took control right away in the second set and City could not make up ground. The battle for a City College victory continued, but the Colonles took a 25-5 win in the second set.

With one more set remaining before their tournament ended, the Beavers fought for a victory. They put up, what proved to be an intense battle between the two teams. However, it was not enough to stop Wilkes as they took the third set and the match, 25-21.

Match One vs. Alfred State
Alfred State (14-1) had a lot of control going into this match only having lost one match this season. CCNY (3-14) put up a fight for a win in the tournament. City put up a .364 attack percentage, while Alfred State only had put up a .333 percentage. However, CCNY was only able to get four kills in the first set. City fell 25-11 in the first set.

The second and third set the Beavers gave it their all but were unable to gain a competitive advantage. The lost in both the second and third set, 25-8, 25-10, respectively.

Veralucia Quispe notched a match-high 20 digs, while Irishvarsha Iyyadurai added 10. Angela Ubanwa led the Beavers with four kills, the team had seven kills for the match. Cassidy Iannariello dished out 10 assists.

Day One
Match Two vs. Misercordia
Misercodia (6-10), like Lycoming, got off to a quick start in the first set. They were able to take the competitive advantage over City (3-13). The team put up a fight but fell 25-7 in the first set.

During the second set, CCNY was able to put up more of a fight for a victory. However, Misercordia continued to hold the advantage and took the second set 25-17.

City did not go quietly in the third set as they fought for another set. In the first two sets, Misercorida had attack percentages close to .300, but the Beavers held them to a .108 attack percentage in the third set. However, CCNY was not able to overcome the Cougars. City fell in the third set 25-20.

Veralucia Quispe led the Beavers with 15 digs, while Angela Ubanwa had 13. Ubanwa led City with five kills. Cassidy Iannariello dished out 12 assists. Pui-Yan Yu had two solo blocks in the match.

Match One vs. Lycoming
Lycoming (9-5) got off to a quick start in the match in the first set. While, City (3-12) only had four kills in the first set, they had an impressive .375 attack percentage. However, they could not match Lycoming's .591 attack percentage and fell 25-9.

The second and third set were similar to the first. The Beavers were unable to get the competitive advantage over the tournament host, Lycoming. They fell in both the second and third set, 25-8, 25-7, respectively.

Aida Cekic led the Beavers with four kills, while Angela Ubanwa and Brigitte Bozer added three. Cassidy Iannariello dished out six assists. Veralucia Quispe had 10 digs for the match.
