Brooklyn, NY - The City College women's volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to St. Joesph's College – Brooklyn in Non-Conference play Tuesday night. The Beavers took the third set in the defeat.
After falling 25-23 in the opener, the Lavender and Black rallied from a 13-6 deficit in the second set to knot the score at 13-13, the set would go through eight more lead changes. St Joes's held on for the 26-24 set win. CCNY won set three 25-22 before the Bears closed out the match 25-12 in the fourth.

Camila Franco-Diaz recorded seven kill and a block. She added two aces for a team-best 10.0 points. Junior
Tenaya Hawkins had a team-high 23 assist in the loss. Junior
Veralucia Quispe led CCNY with 29 assists to go along with seven digs. Senior Brigtte Bozer had 20 digs and six kills for the Beavers. Irishvarsha Lyyadura posted 16 digs and one ace.
CCNY will play next agansit Barcuh College on Thrusday (Oct.20).
