It would be a game of home-runs as the Bears came up with a two-run home-run in the fourth inning to take a 3-2 lead.

In the fifth inning, Cacchione reached base after being walked to bring up Michael Siklas. Siklas would hit the fourth home-run of the game, and the second for the Beavers. Rob Mandich followed that up with a single down the left field line that brought in both Cacchione and Siklas for a 7-7 tie game. Antonio Elmy was hit by a pitch which advanced Mandich to second. Uche Nwokelo would score Pena on a sacrifice fly for the go-ahead run for the Beavers. Mandich would score off of a throwing error before CCNY's big inning would come to a close.
