New York, NY - The CCNY women's volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to Baruch College in conference action at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Thursday evening. The Beavers took the opening set 25-23 before falling in the last three sets 25-8, 25-15 and 25-18.
Junior
Camila Franco-Diaz had 10 kills and completed her second double-double of the season with 12 digs and was responsible for 12.0 points.
Freshman
Yana Shaposhnikova had her third double-digit digs effort of the year with 16, along with seven kills.
Freshman
Dzeneta Harambasic recorded her first double-double of the season with 19 assists and 11 digs. Senior
Irishvarsha Iyyadurai had a season-high 10 assists and registered three kills.
Junior
Yasmine Bachtarzi also had three kills and added three digs in the loss.
The Bearcats posted 39 kills led by Wai Changs' and Katherine Chen's 10 a piece. Setter Cindy Cui had 19 assists and Wai Changs had 21 digs to lead the Baruch.
CCNY will return to the court at home tomorrow night (Sep. 15) hosting the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 7:00 pm at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
