New York, NY – The CCNY women's volleyball team fell in straight sets at Baruch College Thursday evening, 3-0.
The Bearcats controlled all three sets (25-7, 25-16, 25-20) to hand the Beavers the loss in CUNY Athletic Conference play.
Junior
Kayla Oge had a team-high six kills and one block. Freshman
Nadia Campoverde ended with a match-high 10 digs and five kills. Junior
Nicole Polanco finished with six digs and three kills.
Sophomore
Dzeneta Harambasic had a team-high 15 assists for the Beavers, while rookie
Oanh Han notched six digs and one ace.
Baruch was led by Anita Sengara's 18 kills and freshmen Katherine Chen had a game-high 20 assists.
CCNY returns to action tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 19 in Bronxville, NY against Sarah Lawrence College at 7 PM.
