New York, NY - The City College of New York women's volleyball team returned to their home court at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday evening against Baruch College in CUNY Athletic Conference action. The Beavers fell to the Bearcats in three sets. CCNY drops to 2-11 and 1-3 in conference play.

The Bearcats took the opening 25-12 before capturing the second frame, 25-13, and closing out the match with a 25-12 victory in the final period.

Freshman Natalia Abreu posted five kills and six digs. Junior Nadia Campoverde added five kills, four digs, and a block in the match. Rookie Viviana Alatorre ended with 14 assists and four digs. Freshman Bianka Catral totaled five kills of her own while Michelle Hu finished with five digs.

The Beavers welcome York College to the Nat Holman Gymnasium on Thursday, Oct. 21. First serve is slated for 7:00 p.m.
