New York, NY – The City College of New York women's volleyball team wrapped up the home portion of their schedule with a three-set sweep over the York College Cardinals. Before the match, Head Coach Andrijana Todorovic and Interim Director of Athletics Steve Macias honored the program's senior class members Jancy Contreras and Michelle Hu

The Beavers were awarded the first due to a forfeit by York. CCNY would secure the second set 25-15 and close out the evening with a 25-9 victory in the final frame.

Freshman Natalia Abreu recorded a match-high nine kills, along with five digs. Senior Michelle Hu capped off the evening with eight digs, five service aces, and three kills. Freshman Bianka Catral recorded five kills, five aces, and two digs. Freshman Viviana Alatorre dished a match-high 17 assists.  Anna Plotnick finished with seven digs, while Jafriesy Ovalle had four kills. Senior Jancy Contreras saw action for the Beavers, ending the night one dig.

Next, the Beavers return to action tomorrow evening in a non-conference match against Old Westbury. The match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
