NEW YORK – The City College of New York Department of Athletics & Recreation and the Brooklyn Cyclones will be hosting a special "CCNY Welcome Back Night" at Maimonides Park during the Cyclones' game against the Aberdeen IronBirds on Tuesday, August 24.  All CCNY students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans are invited to attend. 

Tickets are $15, which includes free parking and a free Cyclones hat.  To purchase, click here.  All tickets ordered through this link will be in a designated CCNY seating section.

This marks the first event being sponsored by the Athletic Department since March 2020 and takes place the night before the College returns to in-person instruction.  As a part of the celebration, a CCNY dignitary will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.  There will also be a special recognition on the video board during the game.

Formerly known as MCU Park, Maimonides Park is located steps away from Coney Island's legendary boardwalk.  Parking is available across from the stadium on Surf Avenue, and the ballpark is also easily accessible via public transportation.  The F, D, N and Q trains all stop at the Coney Island-Stillwell Av Station, which is a short three-block walk from the ballpark.  Several bus lines stop near the ballpark, as well.
