New York, NY - The City College of New York men's basketball fell short in an exciting, action-packed contest on Tuesday night at Nat Holman Gymnasium to Hunter College, 98-96.
With the loss, the Beavers round out the regular season with a 7-16 overall record and 3-11 mark in conference play.

Sophomore Yassine led CCNY with a double-double, tallying a game-high 26 points and ten rebounds, along with five assists. Junior
Daniel Piszczatowski totaled 22 points, shooting 10-for-15 from the field, and grabbed eight rebounds and two assists. Junior
Dashaun Galloway posted 14 points, six rebounds, five steals, and two blocks.
Freshman
Elijah Patterson finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and three steals. Freshman
Luqman Ahmed had a career night off the bench, adding a season-high 16 points, along with four steals, two rebounds, and two assists. Freshman
Jordan Williams tallied six points, four assists, and two rebounds. Rookie
Bayame Bah chipped in six rebounds, three steals, two blocks, and two points.
In all, the Beavers shot 47.2 percent in the contest, holding Hunter to 44.2 percent. The Hawks won the rebounding battle, owning a 53-51 edge over CCNY.
Next, CCNY will begin postseason play on Saturday, Feb. 19, in the CUNYAC quarterfinals against York College.
