New York, NY - The CCNY men's volleyball team's four-match win streak came to an end on Saturday afternoon as the Beavers were defeated by Hunter College at home in three sets in CUNY Athletic Conference play.
The Beavers fall to 9-5 overall and 4-4 in league play with the loss. The Hawks won by set scores of 25-18, 26-24, and 25-19.
Sophomore 
Xhulio Myftari had a match-high 18 kills, and four digs for Freshman 
Rahul Sharma added seven kills and six digs for the Beavers. Freshman 
Utpal Chand had five kills and digs. Freshman Jeffery Celis toled 30 assists in the match, while 
Reng Chen had five digs and 
Edwin Fierros Gaytan had seven digs.
Next, CCNY hosts John Jay College on Tuesday, Mar. 22, for a 7:00 p.m. first serve at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
