New York, NY - The CCNY men's volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-14) to Hunter College on Thursday night in CUNY Athletic Conference. The loss drops the Beavers to 5-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Sophomore
Xhulio Myftari led the Beavers with 12 kills, his sixth double-digit kill performance this season, and added six digs and a block to finish with 13 points. Freshman
Utpal Chand followed with five kills and five digs. Freshman
Edwin Fierros Gaytan tallied 18 assists and three digs, while
Reng Chen had six digs.
Next, the Beavers travel to take on John Jay College on Saturday, Mar. 5, at 11:00 a.m.
