New York, NY - The 2022 CUNY Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament bracket is set, and The City College of New York baseball team has clinched the No. 2 seed. 

The Beavers will begin postseason action on Wednesday, May 4, facing off against the third-seeded John Jay College in a First Round Play-In game at Ohio Field in the Bronx, New York. The winner of Wednesday's contest advances to the league's Championship best-of-three series at Maimonides Park in Brooklyn, NY. Games one and two of the series will take place on Friday, May 6, while game three (*If Necessary) will be on Saturday, May 7. 

UPDATE: 
Due to inclement weather, Wednesday's First Round Play-In game between CCNY and John Jay has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m. at Ohio Field.

The Beavers closed out the season strong, winning four out of the final five games, finishing 5-7 in conference play. This season, John Creegan has led the Beavers and is hitting a stellar .394 with a team-high 41 hits and 26 on the year, while Jonathan Rivera has a strong campaign with 33 hits and a team-best four home runs.

On the mound, ace James Dean Johnstone leads the pitching staff. He is 4-3 with a 4.47 and has a league-best 54 strikeouts in 48.1 innings.
