New York, NY - The CUNY Athletic Conference announced on Monday afternoon that The City College of New York men's cross country runner Gian-Carlo Riehl was named the league's Rookie of the Week following his performance this weekend.
 
At the Highlander XC Challenge, Riehl was Beaver's top finisher, running a season-best time of 29:46.3.

The Beavers return to action next at the SJLI Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY.
