New York, NY – The 2023 CUNY Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship Tournament bracket is set, and The City College of New York women's soccer team has clinched the No. 1 seed. 

The Beavers are the top seed in the tournament after securing its first-ever Regular Season Championship. CCNY finished the regular season 8-5 overall with a perfect 5-0 mark against conference opponents. Junior Laura Villatoro leads the Beavers in points (37), goals (14), and assists (9) this season, while sophomore Karen Pineda has recorded nine goals and four assists for 22 points. 

The Beavers will make their seventh consecutive trip to the conference semifinals on Saturday and look to advance to the championship match for the third time in the last four seasons after falling to John Jay College last season in the finals.

The Beavers will begin postseason action on Saturday, Oct. 28, hosting fourth-seeded Brooklyn College in the semifinals at Randall's Island Field 75 at 11:00 a.m. The winner of Saturday's contest advances to the Conference Championship match on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Queens College.
