Riverdale, NY - The City College of New York women's cross country program finished fifth overall on Sunday at the 2023 CUNY Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, held at Van Cortlandt Park.

The Beavers had two runners finish within the top 15. Freshman Lizbeth Diaz led the Beavers with an 11th-place finish in a personal-best time of 31:23.5. Freshman Isabelle Ashpole took 15th overall, crossing the line in a time of 33:05.8.

Freshman Camille Carrasco finished next for the Beavers, placing 22nd, earning a mark of 34:16.6. Sophomore Angelina Brown competed for the course in a season-best time of 38:39.6 while freshman Maisha Islam rounded out the team for CCNY, running 39:50.2.
