New York, NY - The City College of New York men's basketball team opened CUNY Athletic Conference play on Friday, defeating Medgar Evers College, 66-53, at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
With the win, the Beavers improve to 5-3 overall, notching their fourth straight victory.

Edward Beqiri finished with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, four steals, and two blocks. Senior
Yassine Sakhi recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, four steals, and two assists. Sophomore
Michael Bowman added 13 points and four rebounded.

Chris Stone produced six points, ten rebounds, and six assists in 26 minutes off the bench. Junior
Elijah Patterson posted nine points and two rebounds.
Up next, the Beavers return to action on Monday, Dec. 4, when they host Penn State Harrisburg at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
