New York, NY – The 2023 CUNY Athletic Conference Baseball Championship Tournament bracket is set, and The City College of New York baseball team has clinched the No. 1 seed. 

The Beavers will begin postseason action on Tuesday, May 9, facing off against the fourth-seeded John Jay College in a First Round Play-In game at Ohio Field in the Bronx, New York. The winner of Tuesday's contest advances to the conference Championship best-of-three series at Maimonides Park in Brooklyn, NY. Games one and two of the series will take place on Friday, May 12, while game three (*If Necessary) will be on Saturday, May 13.

CCNY, last season's runner-up, is the No. 1 seed in the tournament. The Beavers went 13-18 overall and 9-3 against conference opponents during the regular season, earning a tiebreaker over Baruch to secure the regular season title. James Dean Johnstone is 5-3 on the mound this season with a 4.19 ERA and 56 strikeouts across 58.0 innings of work, while Jonathan Rivera paces CCNY in batting average (.406), hits (41), RBI (26) and runs scored (28).
