New York, NY - The City College of New York men's basketball team defeated Hunter College on the road Tuesday night, 88-81.

The win marks the Beaver's second straight victory, improving to 9-9 overall and 5-7 in CUNY Athletic Conference play.

Senior Edward Beqiri led the Beavers with 24 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Junior Justin Morety finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Senior Chris Stone posted 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, a block, and a pair of steals. Junior Ricardo Dixon recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in the win.

Junior Michael Bowman added 10 points, six rebounds, two assists, and six steals in 34 minutes of action. Freshman David Leye had six points and two rebounds, while senior Elijah Patterson had four points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Next, the Beavers will return to the Nat Holman Gymnasium on Friday, February 14, to take on John Jay College at 7:00 p.m.
