CCNY Men's Basketball Honors Senior Class; Falls Late to Brooklyn, 68-66

New York, NY - The City College of New York men's basketball team closed the regular season on Tuesday evening, falling late to Brooklyn College, 68-66. Prior to the game, head coach Spencer Boateng and the CCNY athletics staff honored the Senior class of 2025, Chris Stone, Elijah Patterson, and Edward Beqiri, as part of the program's annual senior day ceremony.

Junior Ricardo Dixon finished with a game-high 24 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a block. Senior Chris Stone finished with 17 points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Senor Edward Beqiri had eight points, four rebounds, and five assists. Senior Elijah Patterson posted six points, five rebounds, and five assists.

The Beavers close the regular season with a 10-10 overall record and a 6-8 mark in CUNYAC play, clinching the fifth seed in the 2025 CUNYAC Championship Tournament.

Next, CCNY will begin postseason play on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the CUNYAC First Round against #4 Brooklyn College. The game is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at Brooklyn College.
