New York, NY — The City College of New York men's basketball team earned a hard-fought 69–66 victory over Middlebury College on Wednesday evening at Nat Holman Gymnasium, securing its fifth win of the season.
CCNY improves to 5–14 on the season, while Middlebury falls to 7–11.
CCNY set the tone early, edging Middlebury 34–33 at the break behind efficient shooting and active defense. The Beavers maintained their composure in a tightly contested second half, matching Middlebury basket for basket and closing out the three-point win.

Camryn Reyes led CCNY with a team-high 15 points, adding four steals on the defensive end. Senior

Abdias Carcamo each chipped in 11 points. Bowman also dished out five assists, helping keep the offense steady down the stretch.
CCNY shot an impressive 49.1 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc, while forcing 18 Middlebury turnovers and converting them into 24 points. The Beavers also controlled the paint, outscoring Middlebury 32–28 inside.
Middlebury was led by Kuba Cwalina, who poured in a game-high 23 points off the bench, including six three-pointers. Despite his effort, CCNY's defense tightened late, limiting clean looks in the final minutes.
The Beavers built their largest lead of the night midway through the second half and withstood a late push from Middlebury to seal the win.
