The City College of New York women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon.
During doubles play,
Minhal Mahmood and
Louiza Molohides put up a strong fight on court two but fell 8-4.
Domica Roberts and
Yacine Diouf along with Charlotte Dulay and
Ann Bui both fell on their respective courts. CSI took a 3-0 lead going into singles.
During singles, Diouf put up a fight on court six, but was unable to gain the advantage as she fell to the Dolphins. CSI continued their dominace they held during doubles in singles play. While City continued to battled, the Dolphins would maintain their advantage on all six singles courts.
The Beavers will face John Jay Sunday, October 18 as the continuation from their suspended match. John Jay leads City 2-1 in the match.
