The City College of New York women's tennis teams season has come to a close as they were defeated 5-0 by the College of Staten Island on Friday evening. CSI was deemed the number two in the playoffs, while the Beavers were number seven. 

During doubles play, Yacine Diouf and Rozina Radoncic gave the Dolphins their first point of the match by a forfeit on court three. Charlotte Dulay and Minhal Mahmood put their best effort on court one but were overcome by Viktoriya Volkova and Sabrina Bragerton-Nasert 8-1. Domica Roberts and Louiza Molohides took their spot on court two, but fell 8-0 to Nozima Toshpulatova and Michelle Kushnir to give the Dolphins a 3-0 lead going into singles play.

CSI picked up the first singles point on court six when Diouf forfeited. With a 4-0 lead, the Beavers fought to get a point to keep the match going. However, the Dolphins Michelle Kushnir took control on court four to take the fifth point of the match from Molohides. With their fifth point, CSI clinched their spot in the semifinals, which knocked CCNY out of the postseason tournament.
