The City College of New York women's tennis team fell 6-3 to John Jay on Sunday afternoon at the York Tennis Courts.
The doubles part of the match had already been completed as this match had been suspended due to rain. John Jay led 2-1 going into singles play for the match.
City fought hard for another conference victory before the CUNYAC tournament that begins on Friday, October 23.
Louiza Molohides and Yacine Dioiuf both picked up singles victories on their respective courts five and six.
Minhal Mahmood fell in the first set, defeated Gabriela Baez in the second set but fell in the third set for John Jay to take the point on court three.

Domica Roberts all fell in singles play as the Bloodhounds took the match 6-3.
