The City College of New York women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Hunter College at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. On Friday, the women's tennis team's match was suspsended against John Jay due to weather conditions. The Bloodhounds were leading 2-1 when the match was called, a makeup date has not been determined yet. 

The Beavers started the match off in doubles play where Hunter took a 3-0 lead. Both Minhal Mahmood and Louiza Molohides along with Domica Roberts and Yacine Diouf were able to get a set point, but Hunter took all three points before singles.

Mahmood, on court four, took the first set 6-4, but fell in the remaining two sets as Sara Beck took the point for the Hawks. There was a fight by the team on all six singles courts, but Hunter remained dominate throughout the match to take the point on all courts. CCNY fell 9-0 to Hunter.

The team will face Lehman College Monday, October 12 at 3:30 p.m. at the York Tennis Complex in Jamaica, New York.
