NEW YORK, NY  – The CCNY lacrosse team fell in its 2018 home opener Saturday afternoon, falling to New Haven, 9-1. 

Midfielder Artur Zych led the Beavers offensively, taking five shots and connected on the team's lone goal.

Junior Goalkeeper Adonis Diaz stopped nine shots in 45 minutes of action. 

CCNY's next game will be against New York City rival NYU. The Violets host the Beavers this Saturday (Mar. 3) at 1:00 pm
