MONTCLAIR, NJ - The City College of New York lacrosse program fell in their  2019 season opener against the Montclair State University, 13-2, on Saturday.

Ben Variano and Stephen Payor led CCNY, each scoring one goal in the game. Goalkeeper Adonis Diaz started in net for the Beavers, making seven stops.

Giancarlo Zirpolo dominated the contest, winning seven out of eight face-offs.

CCNY returns back to action on Sunday, Mar. 31 when the team travels to Hoboken, NJ to face Stevens Tech.
