Queens, NY - In a matchup with the conference's top-ranked teams, The City College of New York women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to John Jay College in the 2022 CUNY Athletic Conference Championship game on Saturday afternoon.
John Jay's Mikayla Schoch netted the lone goal and eventual game-winner for the Bloodhounds in the 23rd minute, chipping in the shot on an assist from Leylah Murad and Katie Healy.

The Bloodhounds outshot the Beavers, 12-8, on the afternoon while holding an 8-3 edge in shots on goal. The game had three corner kicks, with the Bloodhounds taking two of them.
