Danbury, Conn. - The City College of New York men's basketball team returned to action Thursday afternoon, competing in the first round of the WestConn Holiday Tournament at Western Connecticut State. The Beavers dropped a 94-59 final score to the WestConn. CCNY falls to 5-6 with the loss, while the Wolves move to 9-0.

Nana Oteng finished with a season-high eight points off the bench.
The Beavers shot 33.9 percent from the field, while WestConn made 36-of-66 (54.5 percent) field goals.
The Beavers return to competition tomorrow, taking on Coast Guard in the consolation game of the WestConn Holiday Tournament at 1:00 p.m.
