Jamaica, NY - In their final conference road contest, the CCNY men's basketball team fell to York College on Wednesday evening, 68-50.
The loss drops the Beavers to 6-15 overall and 2-10 in CUNY Athletic Conference play.
Junior Daniel Piszczatowski finished with a team-high 10 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Sophomore Amir Assani tallied nine points, a team-high seven rebounds, two assists, and a block. Sophomore Yassine Sakhi chipped in seven points, five rebounds, and three assists in the loss.
Junior Dashaun Galloway posted six points, three rebounds, and four assists. Elijah Patterson ended with four points and five rebounds while Abdoul Tandia picked up a season-high five points, and Jordan Williams recorded four points and two blocks.
Three players led York in double-figure scoring.
The Cardinals outshot CCNY in the contest 47.6 % to 29.7 % and overpowered the Beavers on the boards 53-34.
The Beavers return to action on Friday, Feb. 11, at home against Brooklyn College at 7:00 p.m.
