Brooklyn, NY - The City College of New York women's basketball team earned a CUNY Athletic Conference victory Friday evening, defeating Medgar Evers College, 50-33.
With the win, the Beavers move to 4-16 overall, and 2-7 in CUNY Athletic Conference play.
Junior
Monae Laing led the Beavers, collecting her ninth double-double of the season with 17 points and 18 rebounds, along with four steals. Sophomore
Leondra Craig tallied 10 points, eight rebounds, and four steals. Sophomore
Kasia Morrison added nine points, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Freshman
Anna Vikatos finished with eight points, three assists, four blocks, and eight steals. Freshman
Joscelyn Ramos notched a career-high 15 rebounds, four points, and four steals.
Next, the Beavers continue CUNY Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, Jan. 31, traveling to take on Lehman College at 5:00 p.m.
