Danbury, NY – In the opener of the 2023 Hat City Classic, The City College of New York women's basketball fell to host Western Connecticut State on Friday, 90-41.
With the loss, the Beavers drop to 1-6 overall.
Junior Anais Rosa finished with 22 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Junior Kasia Morrison posted 11 points and two rebounds. Sophomore Joscelyn Ramos had four points and five rebounds. Freshman Ashley Colon had two points and two rebounds, while sophomore Eyoni Mayes had a team-high eight rebounds.
Next, CCNY takes on Alfered University tomorrow afternoon in the finale of the Hat City Classic at 1:00 p.m.
