New York, NY - The City University of New York Athletic Conference has released its Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for the 2022-23 Winter/Spring semester, handing out 507 citations for academic excellence. For CCNY, the Beavers had the second-most honorees out of all CUNY institutions, with 90 student-athletes recognized for their academic achievements. In addition, the Beavers had five fall student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average, tied for the second-most out of all schools.

"Our CUNYAC student-athletes continue to rise to the challenge and thrive in the classroom," said CUNYAC Associate Director for Operations Kim Wright. "Congratulations to our honorees as they continue to put in championship performances on and off the field."

The CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll is constructed with student-athletes across 13 member campuses who participate in a varsity-level sport who own a 3.2 or better on a 4.0 scale. The list includes sports that conducted their championship in the winter and spring seasons (men's & women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field, men's volleyball, baseball, and softball).

Among the 507 honorees, 29 student-athletes finished with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
