New York, NY - The City College of New York women's basketball team fell short on Friday evening on the road, falling to Baruch College, 79-53.
The loss drops the Beavers to 1-14 on the season and 0-8 in CUNYAC play.
The Beavers showcased a strong showing in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bearcats 20-7 in the final period.
Sophomore
Anna Vikatos paced the Beavers with a team-high 16 points, five rebounds, seven blocks, two assists, and three steals. Junior
Kasia Morrison netted 14 points for her 12th double-digit season performance. She also added five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Junior
Anais Rosa finished with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Sophomore
Joscelyn Ramos posted five points, six rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Freshman
Sarah Blevins tallied a season-high nine rebounds, along with two points, while freshman
Ashley Colon had four points.
Next, the Beavers will travel to take on York College on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 5:00 p.m.
