New York, NY - The City College of New York women's basketball team hosted their first home game of the New Year on Friday, falling to Baruch College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, 69-37.
With the loss, the Beavers fall to 1-9 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
Junior Kasia Morrison led CCNY with a team-high 16 points, three rebounds, four assists, and seven steals. Junior Anais Rosa finished with seven points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Sophomore Anna Vikatos posted two points, 12 rebounds, and seven blocks.
Sophomore Eyoni Mayes chipped in four points and six rebounds. Sophomore Joscelyn Ramos had two points, three rebounds, and three assists, while freshman Ashley Colon had six points off the bench.
Next, the Beavers return to play on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at home against York College at 5:00 p.m.
