Queens, NY - The City College of New York women's track & field opened the 2024 outdoor season on Sunday, competing at the Queensborough Relays.

Junior Leondra Craig finished second in the javelin with a throw of 26.00m. In the 100-meter dash, she placed 11th overall with a time of 15.01. In the shot put, she had a toss of 7.24m, placing 12th.

Freshman Isabelle Ashpole finished fifth in the 10,000-meter run (52:55.10), while freshman Maisha Islam placed sixth in a time of 1:06:44.14.

Freshman Flor Dominguez placed ninth in the 400-meter dash, running 1:02.12. Freshman Angelina Brown placed third in the 400-meter hurdles, running 1:34.30.

Next, the Beavers return to competition at the Ramapo College Invitational on March 29-30.
