CCNY will be in action this weekend in the Ollie Gelston Classic hosted by Montclair State University. The team will play Moravian on Friday evening at 6:00pm. On Saturday the Beavers  will play host Montclair State at 1:00pm.
 
 
Last Time Out: Yeshiva
 
The City College men's basketball team had four players score in double figures, but was unable to get by Yeshiva University, falling 92-66 in their season opener at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday night.
 
Scouting Moravian College
The Moravian College men's basketball team rallied from a 17-point deficit with nine and a half minutes to play to pull within two points before falling to rival Muhlenberg College, 85-79, in non-conference action Tuesday evening to begin the 2016-17 season.

Scouting Montclair State
Second-year head coach Marlon Sears returns a handful of veterans from last year's 11-14 squad that just missed out on the final NJAC Tournament spot. Senior swing man Brandon Channer heads the list of returners. Channer averaged 17.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
