Box Score BRONX, NY - The City College women's basketball team dropped an 78-44 decision at Lehman College in City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) play at the APEX Center.
The Lavender & Black led after the first period 13-11, and only trailed by six points (23-29) going into halftime.
Freshmen Elizabeth Zullo led the team off the bench with eight points and three rebounds. Freshmen Shakirra Smith seven points and Senior Alexis Akridge posted six points and eight rebounds. Senior Erika Richards scored six points and six rebounds. Sophomore Natasha Almonacy added six points and four boards for the Lavender & Black.
Lehman out shot CCNY in the contest 41.3%-22.1% after shooting 26-for-57 from the field. The Beavers were 8-for-11 from the free throw line during the game. The Lightening held a 13-20 turnover margin and out rebounded City College 55-to-46.
CCNY returns to the Nat Holman Gymnasium when they host Baruch College on Friday (Dec. 2) at 5:00 pm.
