STORYLINE

New York, NY -The City College Women's Basketball team (7-9) host Lehman College (8-7) this evening at 5:00pm.  Both teams met earlier this season when CCNY fell to Lehman 78-44. The Beavers come into the on a three game winning streak. The Beavers defeated Carin University on Monday, 57-33. The Lehman College Lighting enter the game with six straight victory. The Lighting's last game was on the road against Medgar Evers, where Lehman won 87-49.

Last Time Out: Cairn University

The City College women's basketball team won its third straight game Monday evening , defeating Carin University  57-33 on the road in Langhorne, PA. City College played a strong defensive, game holding Cairn to only shoot 23% from the field in the game. The Beavers capitalize on the Highlanders 28 turnovers scoring 20 points and recording 15 steals. Sophomore Debra Chan scored in double-figures for the third consecutive game. Chan notched a season and career-high 19-points and grabbed four steals  and three rebounds. Senior Alexis Akridge scored 18-points, tying her season high and had seven rebounds and five assists. 

Scouting Lehman College

The Lehman College women's basketball team jumped out of the gate with a strong start and defeated Medgar Evers College, 87-49, in CUNYAC play Friday night. Amely Del Rosario propelled four players in double figures with a game-high 31 points along with seven steals, four blocks and four rebounds. Lynda Fields chipped in with 17 points of her own,
