STORYLINE
New York, NY - The City College Women's Basketball team (4-8) host Brooklyn College (0-11) in a conference matchup Friday evening. The Beavers are coming off their their first conference win over John Jay College. The Beavers defeated John Jay 68-47. The Brooklyn College Bulldogs enter the game in the top spot of the CUNYAC women's basketball standing. The Bulldogs recently defeated Medgar Evers 75-34.

The City College Women's Basketball began the New Year on the right foot, earning their first conference victory Wednesday night over John Jay College, 68-47. Erika Richards finished the game totaling 25 points and nabbed four steals. Elizabeth Zullo ended the game with 11-points and three assists. Marissa Olsen added six points, nine boards and two steals. Erica Redwood made her second start of the season, scoring six points and grabbed nine rebounds. Shakirra Smith played well the bench with 14-points, five rebounds and five steals, while Debra Chan started the game and finished with six points.
Scouting Brooklyn College
The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team improved their win streak to three games as they defeated Medgar Evers on Wednesday, 75-34, improving to 8-2 and 4-0 in CUNYAC play. D 'Agostino led Brooklyn with 13 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, while Karen Mak and Kailyn Richburg each had 12 points.
