New York, NY - The City College Men's Basketball team (14-9) host Hunter College (12-6) tonight at 7:00pm. City sits two game behind #1 CSI in the conference standings. Both teams met earlier this season when the Beavers defeated the Hawks on their home court 74-65. The Beavers come into the on a five game winning streak. The Beavers recent game was against The College of New Rochelle, in a 87-76 victory Tuesday night at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Hunter College Hawks enter's the game with two straight close losses to conference opponents Staten Island 80-85, and Baruch 73-71.

The City College of New York men's basketball team ran its winning streak to five games with an 87-76 victory in non-conference action over The College of New Rochelle at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday night. Senior David Solano led the Beavers with 22-points, hitting seven three pointers in the game. Senior Mark Richards picked up a double-double with 21 points, a season- high 11 rebounds and two steals. Senior Khalil Hamer had 17 points (3-for-5 from the arc), eight assists, five rebounds, and two steals for the Lavender & Black. Senior Robbie Dionisio posted nine points, four rebounds, one block and one steal. Junior Salvatore Palazzolo came off the bench, chipping in 10-points and eight rebounds.

The Hunter College men's basketball fell in the final seconds of the game to Baruch College on Tuesday night, 73-71. Hunter fell to Baruch on Tuesday at home 68-64.Theresa Leung led the Hawks with 17 points, including four three-pointers, three steals and three assists. Amer Lukac led the team with 24 points and 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season, while Matt Franks followed with 14 points off a 6-8 scoring performance. Gio Gabbidon added 12 points in the Hunter loss.
