FLUSHING, N.Y. (Jan. 17, 2018) - On Wednesday, the City University of New York Athletic Conference and the Colonial States Athletic Conference unveiled the match-ups for the inaugural CUNYAC/CSAC Men's Basketball Challenge.
The challenge will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 at home sites. Lehman, Hunter, York and Medgar Evers will play host to their CSAC counterparts, while Baruch, Brooklyn, John Jay, Staten Island, Brooklyn, and CCNY will venture on the road.
CCNY (1-15) is scheduled to face Centenary University (3-11) on Saturday, Feb. 3, in a 4:00 pm tip-off. The last meeting between the two came on December 11, 2006, at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, with the Beavers earning an 83-74 victory.
The pairings were based on the winning percentages of the teams from the two conferences. The first league with five victories will win the challenge.
