Frostburg, Md.- The CCNY women's basketball team will head to Frostburg, Maryland this weekend to take part in the 2018 Jim Crawley Classic hosted by Frostburg State University.
The Beavers open play on Saturday, Nov. 17 against Frostburg State in their first of two games. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm. Frostburg last defeated Lebanon Valley in their season-opener, 59-41 (Nov. 13).
Following the matchup against the Bobcats, the Beavers play the #20 nationally ranked Christopher Newport University on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 1:00 pm. The Captains are enjoying a 2-0 start to the season, with wins over Virginia Wesleyan, 77-52 (Nov.11) and Stevenson University, 66-64 (Nov. 14).

The Beavers are coming off of a season-opening victory over Cedar Crest College on Saturday, Nov. 10, 61-51. The team was led by senior
Ashley Brooks, who notched a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, while
Debra Chan picked 10 points, five rebounds, and two steals.
